Uganda vs Morocco |Match-day II
Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex
Kickoff: 11PM (EAT)
Four Crested Cranes players who started the 2-0 loss to Senegal in the first Group A game of the Women Africa Cup of Nations have been left out of the Morocco encounter.
In the changes made by head coach George Lutalo, centre back Yudaya Nakayenze and midfielder Hasifah Nassuna will miss the game due to illness.
Meanwhile, Margaret Namirimu starts in defense ahead of Aisha Nantongo who drops to the bench.
In the absence of Nakayenze, midfielder Phionah Nabbumba starts as a make shift centre back, partnering her clubmate Namirimu. Sandra Nabweteme who came on as a substitute in the game against Senegal will start in place of Nassuna.
In the other change, Fazila Ikwaput gets the nod to replace Viola Nambi on the right wing.
With zero points at the bottom of the group, Uganda risk early elimination from the tournament if they fail to pick positive results from the Tuesday match.
However, with such a depleted line-up against the silky passing hosts, the East Africans must put in a extra ordinary performance if they are to realize that dream.
