Benson Muhindo’s goal early in the game was just enough to keep the Jogoos’ hope of winning cup number ten alive.

Muhindo scored in the 10th minute and kept the home crowd in mute mode as the Petros Koukouras coached side held on till the final whistle.

SC Villa now join other Uganda Premier League teams Wakiso Giants, Vipers, BUL and Mbarara City in the last eight.
Others at this stage are Mbale Heroes, Maroons and Booma FC.

Despite playing all their cup games away from home this season so far, the nine time winners have persistently worked their way into the last eight.

At the round of 64, Villa travelled to Gulu where they ejected Super Eagles and later eliminated Express FC at Wankulukukku at the stage of 32.
