Loss to URA toughens SC Villa’s relegation fight

Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Football Club Sunday beat SC Villa, 3-1 at the Arena of Visions in Ndejje to go second on 42 points, seven behind leaders Vipers.

For the Jogoos, the loss leaves their chances of staying in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) further threatened.

Said Kyeyune’s deflected free kick after 33 minutes gave the hosts the lead before Steven Mukwala made it 2-0 to also push his season tally to 13.

Mukwala later turned provider when he set up substitute Juma Dada for the third on 85 minutes.

Villa’s consolation came in added time, Sadam Juma converting a penalty for a 3-1 defeat.
