Uganda U20 Women’s National Team head coach Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi has named the squad that will make the trip to Ghana for the return leg in the fourth round of the 2022 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers.
The list of 20 players, consists of three goalkeepers, six defenders, six midfielders and five forwards.
Forward Juliet Nalukenge who missed the first leg is also back into the squad and will be expected to lead the hunt for Uganda’s goals.
The team will depart for Ghana on Thursday morning (2am) with the game slated for Saturday, 5th February in Cape Coast.
The West Africans will carry into the Saturday game a 2-1 first leg advantage earned at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende. The aggregate winner between the two countries will progress to the final qualifying round in which they take on Ethiopia or Tanzania.
