Otim who came on for Alex Kitata in the 71st minute, almost scored with his first effort but was denied by Soltilo Bright Stars custodian Hassan Matovu.

Despite losing 2-0 and 2-1 to Busoga United and KCCA respectively in the first two opening matches, the Soldier Boys have shown progress. They went on to pick a point away against Tooro United on match day three before Friday’s victory.

Bright Stars who are still struggling, will rue missed chances especially from striker Nelson Ssenkatuka who failed to beat Gaddafi FC goalkeeper Eric Mutebi on several occasions.

With four points from as many games, Gaddafi now lies 8th in the table and will visit UPDF next in an all soldiers affair.

Bright Stars themselves too make a trip to Lugogo to face KCCA FC.
