The match officials for both home and away CAF Confederation fixtures between Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) FC and Coffee of Ethiopia have been confirmed.
URA host the first encounter at St Mary’s stadium, Kitende on September 12, 2021 in the first preliminary round of the competition.
Tanzania’s Elly Ally SASII, Salim Mkono Mohamed, Sief Mpanha Kassim and Martin Eliphas Saanya will be in charge of the game as Centre Referee, Assistant Referee 1, Assistant Referee 2 and Fourth Official respectively.
South Sudanese Sebit Librato Begi Rassas will be the match commissioner while Rwanda’s Michel Gasingwa and Uganda’s James Sekajugo will be Referee’s Assessor and Covid-19 Officer respectively.
In the return leg that is expected to take place on September 19, 2021 in Ethiopia, Brooke Elijah Philip from Kenya will in the center. He will be assisted by countrymen Samuel Kuria, Stephen Yiembe and Peter Waweru Kamaku in the roles of Assistant Referee 1, Assistant Referee 2 and Fourth Official respectively.
Sudanese Amir Osman Mohamed Hamid will take charge as match commissioner while Ethiopian Bereket Bogale will be the Covid-19 Officer.
However, CAF is yet to name the Referee’s Assessor for the second leg.
URA last took part in continental football in 2015.
