John Byamukama put up a man of the match performance and yes, he scored the lone goal that didn’t only won Express FC three points but saw Vipers SC lose their first home game in the 2020/21 season.
And what a sweet win this was for coach Wasswa Bbosa and his boys who went to Kitende without a victory from their previous games! They had lost to Bright Stars and drawn against Villa and Mbarara City respectively.
The former Tooro United midfielder netted what later turned out to be the match winner on the 65th minute with a screamer that left Vipers custodian Bashir Sekagya helpless.
Byamukama’s strike wasn’t just his first league goal of the season but also something which has left the social media in the country buzzing.

Many a football fans expecially the Villa, Express and KCCA (VEK) faithfuls have come out in handy to redecule the Champions for the loss.
In a mockery way, the fans have used internet and Photoshop pictures to illustrate how the Eagles have swallowed the venomous snake with ease.
And not to be left out of the frenzy, rivals KCCA FC used their official Facebook page and posted a snake being swallowed by an eagle. How ridiculous and Hilarious!
Others are posting the [Red] Eagle stepping on a snake and many more.

The loss means Vipers tentatively remain joint top alongside URA FC with 43 points, three above Express FC who now move to 40 points.
However, URA has a chance to move three points clear at the top if they win away against Bright Stars on Saturday.
In their next fixtures, Vipers travel to Tororo to face MYDA while Express will be at home against Onduparaka.

The other game ended in a 3-2 win for Kyetume over Wakiso Giants at the Nakisunga playground.
