Police FC center back Hassan Mahmood says it was a pleasure helping his team beat Mbarara City yesterday(Wednesday) in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League match day 11 .

Hassan was the hero of the day scoring a sublime Hat-trick as the cops claimed a 3-1 win over the Ankole lions at the MTN Omondi stadium.

“I feel great and proud of myself, my team, teammates and our technical team who have helped me in games and training sessions to bring the best out of me.

“It’s not easy as adefender to score three goals in one game but it takes abit of luck ,hardwork and commitment.

Representing my country in the CHAN tournament in Cameroon was an honor that keeps pushing me to work hard and stay focused so that I can be a better player and get a permanent place in the national team.I thank Allah for this day and I’m to keep working for more of such performances,” Hassan Mahmood told Sta Daily News.

Police reached 23 points from 11 games and are currently 4th on the log of 16 teams.

They will visit SC Villa in their next league match at the Bombo Military Barracks Grounds on Saturday 6th March 2021.
