Express FC striker Frank Kalanda is joyful that he scored the lone goal against Kitara on Tuesday to hand his side three points away at Kavumba recreational center.
Kalanda who replaced injured George Senkaaba in the 50th minute, converted a penalty in the 75th minute to help the Red Eagles remain un beaten.
The striker had spent many games without scoring and he felt movitated after scoring the winning goal.
“Am glad to have scored my first goal in many games. This gives me alot of confidence , but for the team , this is a massive boost for the upcoming games “, Kalanda told Express FC media.
This win was Express FC’s fourth on the road and seventh in total and took coach Wasswa Bbosa’s charges on the top of the log with one point above Vipers SC who host Soltilo Bright Stars at the St.Mary’s Stadium-Kitende on Wednesday.
Express will host Busoga United in their next league game at the Betway Muteesa II Memorial stadium, Wankulukuku.
