URA, Express in a tax compliancy battle

URA FC host Express without midfielder Saidi Kyeyune (Extreme left in yellow) who crossed to Sudanese El Merriekh|File/URA FC.

Express FC visit URA FC today in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League match day 6 at Ndejje.

URA FC hold the home advantage and superior league position but Express’ new signings are starting to gel.

The tax collectors head into the encounter well aware that a slip up will make them miss a chance to keep tabs on the table leadership.

URA are in 4th with 3 wins , 2 draws with 11 points wheras Express lie 7th with 2wins , 3 draws with 9 points.

Both teams are unbeaten in the league but the tax collectors have an advantage over the Red Eagles having beaten them 1-2 in their last meeting at Wankulukuku.

URA’s game was a 2-1 victory over KCCA before the league took a short break.

Express on the other hand shook off the fatigue of the Chan break by drawing 1-1 with champions Vipers at home.

What the coaches say ahead of the game;

URA FC coach Sam Ssimbwa:

“We have prepared well ,we are in great shape and focused to win this game , we need to pick up another win.We don’t have injuries and therefore we are more than ready to pick up a win.

Express FC Coach Wasswa Bbossa

“The players know what’s at hand.We need to win tomorrow[today] and everyone knows the target.Am Happy that we don’t have any injuries so we are ready.”

Both sides have no serious injuries however the hosts will miss the services of Saidi Kyeyune who made a move to El merriekh in Sudan.

The hosts will rely on the services of Joachim Ojera, Shafiq Kagimu and Steven Mukwala for a win while the visitors are expected to put the trust in Muzamir Mutyaba, Eric Kambale, Godfrey Lwesibawa and Murushid Jjuko.

The visitors will be boosted by the return of Left back Arthur Kiggundu and Forward Frank Ssenyondo.

My prediction:
URA 1-1 Express.
