A free kick and a deflection for either side in the second half of the game settled the dust as Express FC and Vipers SC drew 1-1 in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League on Tuesday at the Betway Muteesa II memorial stadium, Wankulukuku.

Both teams remain un beaten but the draw denied the defending Champions a chance to go on top of the table.

The two teams lacked a cutting edge in the first stanza of the game . However, at the re-start, there was change in rythm and as a result, the home side got a freekick following a foul on substitute George Senkaaba and Godfrey Lwesibawa well taken free kick was deflected by Disan Galiwango into the back of the net for the opening goal in the 57th minute.

In a brink of an eye , the visitors responded in similar fashion with Abdul Karim Wantambala’s goal bound effort deflected past Mathias Muwanga into the Express net.
