The Uganda Cranes goalkeeping coach, Fred Kajoba has been dismissed from the team residential camp.
“FUFA has released one of the Uganda Cranes technical staff Fred Kajoba after not being able to observe the camp regulations at the Team Hotel in Kisasi which require all members of the contingent to follow the strict Covid-19 SOPs,” a statement from the federation said on Friday.
This means Kojoba, who is also the head coach of Premier League side Vipers SC, will not travel with the Uganda Cranes Contingent on Monday 28th December 2020 when they fly out of the country for a pre- CHAN tournament in Cameroon in preparation for the Total CHAN Finals that starts mid-January 2021.
In the communication to the media, FUFA Friday said a replacement for one of the Cranes long serving goalkeeping coach will be named by the FUFA Executive in due course.
This website is however still trying to seek for Mr Kajoba’s response in regards to the developments.
We will keep you posted.
