As Christians all over the world celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ during this festive season, let us all be mindful that Christmas is a time of joy and peace, and it is our hope and prayer that you will experience an abundance of both.
This year, the world is however seeing a crisis of an unprecedented nature, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It has sparked fear, frustration and anxiety all around, and has caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people all over the world.
Therefore, it’s incumbent on us to trade with care and caution to avoid catching the novel disease.
We are thankful to God, that He has spared us those who are still alive from the extremes of Covid-19. Through His bountiful Grace and Mercy, we have been able to keep moving despite the challenges the country is facing especially during this time of Electoral campaigns. As we gather with our families, let us not forget about implementing the measures and guidelines from the Ministry of Health so that we protect ourselves and our people.
As STA MEDIA Uganda, we admonish you not to let down your guard. Let us continue to remain vigilant and strictly abide by all of the measures and protocols intended to keep you and your families safe.
As we head into the Christmas period, it is a time for reflection on what we have experienced this year, and most importantly, it is a time to look to the future with hope and confidence for a better 2021.
However, even as we are called to celebrate the joy of the season, let us ensure we do so in a measured and careful manner. We are forever grateful that we made it this far in a turbulent year; so let us be hopeful of the great prospects that lie ahead.
Once again, we would like to wish you dear reader a Joyous and Merry Christmas, and a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
