The Uganda Cranes head coach Johnathan McKinstry has included three graduates from the team that recently won the Cecafa U20 Cup in Tanzania in his provisional CHAN squad.

Ivan Bogere, the tournament’s joint top scorer, midfielder Bobosi Byaruhanga and left back Aziz Kayongo are among the 28 players summoned by McKinstry to start the preparations for the 2020 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) tournament that will be hosted by Cameroon in 2021.
