Former Vipers Captain Lwanga joins Tanzanian Giants

The former Vipers SC skipper has been without a club ever since he left Egyptian Tanta FC.

Uganda Cranes midfielder Taddeo Lwanga has joined Tanzanian giants Simba SC, the club has announced.

“Welcome to Msimbazi, Uganda’s international defensive midfielder who has played for Express FC, SCV Kampala, Vipers FC and Tanta FC, Taddeo Lwanga,” a message on the Club social media handles read in part.

Without devulging into much details, the club said they were eager to see the defensive midfielder represent them in both national and continental engagements.

The former Vipers SC skipper has been without a club ever since he left Egyptian Tanta FC.

He joined Tanta after a successful 2019 AFCON campaign in which the Cranes managed to reach the round of sixteen.

Before Vipers SC, Lwanga had previously played for Express and SC Villa in the Uganda Premier League.
