Ruben Kimera committed his future at Police FC with a two year contract extension on Saturday at the club premises in Kibuli.
The left-footed winger’s contract had expired, but with a new deal, Kimera will be a Cop for at least another two years.
Upon ascertaining his future, the 24-year-old promised to improve hoping for more goals.
He said: “I feel so good for renewing my contract. I’m ready to work hard for the team and I’m hoping for the best this coming season.
“I hope to score and create more goals compared to the previous seasons”
Kimera’s abilities on the pitch need no introduction. The talented winger is admired by many and our club CEO Fahad Lumu hopes to see the best out of him next season.
“He is an experienced player, and we hope to see the best out of him. His display on pitch is great. We are going to support them to enable us achieve our goals and objectives.”
Kimera hopes to develop more and improve his game at the club. He becomes the ninth payer to renew his contract after Joseph Ssentume, Edward Kiryowa, Joseph Odong, Musa Matovu, Mubarak Nsubuga, Yusuf Ssozi, Dennis Rukundo and Bashir Kabuye.
