URA Football Club have signed midfielder Jackson Nunda on a three-year deal, keeping him at the club until 2023.
Nunda became a free agent recently after he and former employers KCCA FC mutually ended their contractual obligations. The naturally gifted midfielder had an ice cold stay at Lugogo due to recurring injuries that made him almost stunted in as far as his career is concerned.
Immediately after the unveiling, he told URA FC website that he was delighted to have joined the tax collectors, a Club he feels is capable of going back to its glory days of winning trophies.
“I chose URA because it’s an ambitious team and I love the competitiveness in the club.”
“Of course, I don’t expect it to be a walk in the park as I have to compete for a place in the team.”
”I am here to win trophies and give 100% for my new home, URA FC,” Nunda is quoted by his new club website.
He becomes URA’s first signing following his arrival from Lugogo, where he has been for four and a half years.
